   Useful Definitions:

     EDU - Electronic Drive Unit.
     Default Frequency - The frequency on which a newly powered wireless EDU without an address operates.
     Project Frequency - The frequency on which an addressed wireless EDU operates.
     RF Diagnostics mode - Used to determine the signal strength for an individual wireless EDU.

Setting Limits

Addressing Mode

Note: Unaddressed EDUs automatically enter addressing mode on power up!

SG_Blink Tap either the CW or CCW buttons to manually select it for Addressing. If the processor heard the EDU, the EDU will blink fast for 4 seconds. 1/8 second greenonG  off
A fast green blink (8 per second)
greenon This EDU was just Addressed or Unaddressed. Constant on greenonG
A constant green LED for 4 seconds, and the EDU will wiggle once.

Normal Operation

This occurs when the EDU powers up. If this happens when the EDU tries to start moving, this is an indication the motor is stalling and the EDU is resetting. Verify that the fabric/hembar is not caught.

RF Diagnostics Mode

Description - RF Diagnostics mode is used to verify that wireless devices can effectively send and receive communications.

HOW TO ENTER:
Press and hold the Close Limit button for 5 seconds, then hold the CCW button for 5 seconds.
HOW TO EXIT: Press and hold the Close Limit button for 5 seconds.

Note:  if your system is addressed, you can also enter from a repeater. If you enter from a repeater, then the processor will tell the EDU to wiggle every 6 seconds. If the EDU stops wiggling, it missed the message. Pressing and Releasing a button on the EDU will cause the repeater to beep, but will not move the EDU.

Return to Defaults

Note:  returning an EDU to its default settings ("out-of-box") will NOT affect the EDU's limits.

First, press and hold the Close Limit button for 5 seconds. The EDU will blink for 2 seconds, and then turn solid green.

Next, press and hold the Open Limit button for 5 seconds. The EDU will blink for 2 seconds, and then turn solid green.

SG_Blink Step 3
Next, press and hold the CW button for 5 seconds. The EDU will blink for 2 seconds, and then turn solid green.

orangeon Step 4
Finally, press and hold the CCW button for 5 seconds. The EDU will turn solid orange while it defaults its settings, and then flash red/green for 4 seconds as shown above in "Startup" under Normal Operation.

An orange LED for a few seconds, and then the EDU will restart.

Fault Conditions

The EDU has reached its maximum runtime. Wait 20 minutes before attempting to move the EDU.

SR_Blink The EDU stopped due to a fault condition (such as a stall).
The EDU will blink like this for 2 seconds when it stops abruptly.
- Check your power wiring and transformer size.
- Check that your shade's fabric or hembar is not
   caught or hung up.
